In a shell-struck old observatory on a hill overlooking the ruined remains of two civilizations, Lucy MacLean goes with her gut and decides to throw her lot in with the only person around offering her a feasible path forward. The Ghoul pretends he isn’t relieved to hear her footsteps trailing his own. Across the breadth of the country and the spans of time, events would begin to transpire to allow for their shared endeavor to be a success. Also, they both develop big fat stinking crushes on each other, which is really inopportune. -

Welcome to Book Two of my Fallout series! This story picks up right where season 1 of the Fallout TV show ended outside of the Observatory, with The Ghoul and Lucy leaving the tunnels, so if you haven't seen the show yet...you might want to watch it before proceeding.
Since this will *eventually* tie in with Part One/Book One of this series, you can read this story on its own to start if you wish, but once they get closer to Vegas...you'll need to catch up with 'Part One - The Commonwealth' before finishing, because the characters being tied in from there will make no sense otherwise.
I am continuing the song titles as chapter titles like I've been doing in Part One, but it won't go too much past that.
The tags will get updated as chapters are posted, as I don't want to give away the direction where I want to take this narrative *quite* yet...and please forgive any grammatical errors or typos, as I am writer, editor, and poster, all in one, and I do make mistakes.

Join Lucy and Dogmeat on a 13-month journey through time as they are sent into the year 2076, 13 months before the Great War.
Seven Years after Lucy begins her Wasteland journey, she’s settled down on a growing Brahmin farm with Cooper. Unable to locate Janey, the two have resigned themselves to following breadcrumbs of leads.
While Lucy is out feeding the cattle one morning, she and Dogmeat are sent through a portal to 2076.
Lucy finally gets to meet her favorite actor, Roosevelt. She gets a job on the set of The Man from Deadhorse.
If she tries undermining Vault Tec while she's there, well whoopsie.
Meanwhile in 2303, Cooper is having his own history rewritten in increasingly debilitating flashbacks. He needs to get help to keep their farm afloat for the next year.
Cooper calls in a favor from an old war buddy, who sends his assistance in the form of a former Vault dweller and his aging grandmother. Together they hold down the fort while Lucy spends her time in the past learning the location of her step-daughter.
Cooper gets to chill in a tank as a mad scientist's experiment for a year while his memories get rewritten.Series

Ghoulcy AU
A recently divorced Cooper Howard is struggling for work and struggling to find himself again.
When he's offered a new TV role - different to his usual cowboy go-to - he sees it as a fresh start. But his new co-star, a relatively new actress named Lucy, has him ready to quit. It's not that she's an awful person or that she's not a good actress.....she just..gets him riled up for some reason he cannot fathom!
Lucy on the other hand, has no idea why her co-star - her idol - is so blunt with her it verges on being unkind. But she tries not to take it to heart, suspecting it's a result of him going through a difficult time.
If this big-budget TV show is going to be a success, they have to learn to work together on set. So then maybe off set, they can start to build a world of their own.

Summary
After taking down Henry and impeding Vault-Tec's HQ in New Vegas, Cooper and Lucy rescue Janey from Vault 31. Lucy finds a familiar face in a cryo tube bearing her father's name: Norm, who should be home in Vault 33, not frozen and lifeless in Vault-Tec's secret executive vault.
It's not like Lucy can just leave him there. Obviously, a second rescue is in order.
