    “This… this would qualify as a mental breakdown, right?” Triton asked, frowning over his shoulder to where Percy was still fuming in the corner. The lady at the counter curiously glanced over before lifting a questioning brow. “My brother – half-brother, technically, I have much better breeding – decided to run away from home to where our father can’t reach him and now he won’t leave. And now I can’t leave unless he leaves,” Triton continued. Percy opened his mouth to object that wasn’t what happened at all, but the tyrant only waved a hand to silence him. “He’s seen war or whatever, so if you could maybe just drug him then I’ll throw him into a suitcase and we can be out of here by the Summer Solstice!”

    Silence. Finally, the woman cleared her throat and turned to Percy.

    “I’m guessing he’s the one you want checked into the mental hospital?” She asked. Triton gasped as Percy punched the air in victory.

    “Aha!”

    The Lord of the Sea held his head high, regally, unrelenting. His eyes were as dark as the waters surrounding Charybdis and his glance bored into each and every one of them, while his hands rested on his trident.

    Old, done a million times and completely self-indulgent.

    If you like this kind of story you’re probably desperate enough to check every new one out, if you don’t, I know there is nothing at all I can say to convince you to read this one, and if you don’t know what a reaction fic is and simply start this one out of curiosity , I might be the one to drag you into this rabbit hole.

    If that’s the case, I am deeply sorry, and good luck. It’s pretty hard to leave this trope behind once you’re into it.

But no, the Fates decided to be bored and kidnap her, her friends, and some wannabe superhero's who jump around roof tops as daily life- and make them react to her life, all her trauma she had to relive (she didn't consent btw).
    Now, Percy always knew the way she was made was weird. The first time she met her dad she asked who her birth mother was. Then, he revealed she actually had two dads and a mom (WTF!?). To be honest, she never asked about them again. Sally was her mom, not those supposed birth parents who gave her away. But for some reason, she always felt kind op empty inside. Like somebody important was missing...
