this happens every season because mephone made different designs for each contestant and once they also got generated with the rest of the adults so mephone assumed they signed up for it (lost memory after all)

But when a malicious force decides it's time for a new game to begin, they're suddenly ripped from their homes and forced to start a new in a far more hostile new world.

This is an AU where Mephone 4 did not generate the contestants, and they are just people who competed on an obscure competitor show that didn't hit the mainstream. It takes place post season 1, with season 2 contestants, but not in a contest manner.
