After years in Urbanshade's grasp, doing whatever they wanted of her in order to keep up appearances, Kari is finally given an opportunity to leave it all behind. Following the lockdown, Kari's only set mission is to locate and kill Z-13; The Saboteur. But when did she ever agree to that? After freeing herself from Urbanshade's radar, Kari begins to plot her escape out of the hellish halls of the Blacksite, but it proves to be more difficult than she had anticipated.
Met with the Saboteur himself, he reminds her of the very reason she's in there to begin with. She's determined to escape and reclaim her life; she just hopes she can convince those around her to aid her, rather than kill her.

As such, the corporation guiltlessly snatches up the vulnerable and desperate who have been left to rot in cells or in line for death row.
What happens when the latest bit of turret fodder lacks a will to live, lacks a loyalty to the company, and lacks a desire for freedom? What happens when the latest expendable has no intention of retrieving the crystal?
What happens when, despite these things, they volunteer to enter the Hadal Blacksite anyways?
Then, they'd require a new purpose. One that they just may find in a world of fellow corpses.
