Summary
Dr. Lawrence Gordon lives.
Adam leans back onto his pillow and closes his eyes, picturing the face he’d been staring at for hours in that bathroom. He’d been sure he was dead. Hell, Lawrence already looked like a fucking ghost before he’d even reached the gun. And once he’d crawled out that door, Adam couldn’t stop picturing Lawrence bleeding out in the hall, everything he’d sacrificed, all for nothing. It made him sick to his stomach.
But Lawrence lives, and now Adam can’t think of anything other than seeing him again.

Summary
Peter rarely felt nervous.
Even as a kid, he never turned down a dare because he didn’t have the nerves everyone else did. Sure the adrenaline was the same as everyone else's, but once he was sure about something, nothing could take him away from it.
In his childhood, it labeled him careless but as a Special Agent, it labeled him fearless and outstanding.
One of the best.
So why did he feel nervous about knocking on Hoffman’s door?
~
Peter, after taking the right amount of medical leave, goes to confront Hoffman after learning of his absence from the Jigsaw case. What happens when Peter finds out that he and Hoffman have a few things in common?

Summary
“What the fuck do you think you’re doing, Hoffman?” A spiteful bark reverberated through the streets. Strahm snarled at the man comparatively like a rabid dog, and it was only a matter of time until he would lunge onward and tear him to shreds. Mark, in turn, sheerly blinked—otherwise remaining unmoving, except that he drew back. He brook no intimidation. If it can be considered as such. Perhaps he got it all wrong about the agent. Perhaps he was all bark but would not bite. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
At that, Peter guffawed while bending himself closer to loom just a few inches over the detective. “No? You dragged me out of the precinct to this Italian restaurant."—wined and dined me, he almost proceeded, minus the wine, but managed to bite his tongue by the skin of his teeth. A date would be the appropriate term; however, disregard it as such. Notwithstanding the fact that he reveled in the dinner and the brief moment they connected.

Summary
Mark suddenly took his throat, holding him close. The glitter of fear in Peter's eyes was delicious. "I bet you want to, don't you, Peter?"
Peter couldn't answer, his breath caught in his throat, even if Mark wasn't squeezing very hard.
Fuck, he was going to come, or he was going to piss himself – he was going to do something, and he couldn't give in, he couldn't give Mark the satisfaction.A horrible one shot! Title is from the song Red Flags and Long Nights by She Wants Revenge (but if you're reading a saw fanfic, you probably already know that).

Summary
The first vision Peter has of Mark Hoffman involves Hoffman railing him over a desk. The second involves Hoffman committing gruesome, bloody murder. Hard to say which is worse, really.
Or: Peter's psychic. Hoffman's a serial killer. It's a match made in heaven.

“Wait! What if I don’t see you again?”
Peter didn’t want to think about that, never seeing Mark again. The charming stranger he had met at the shitty bar next to his hotel.
“Guess you’ll have to wait and see, special agent.”
- Mark met Peter at a bar before Detective Kerry's crime scene. How could a single interaction intertwine the two?

Peter shifted in his seat.
Peter has been shifting in his seat for the better part of the afternoon.
He only had himself to blame. That, perhaps, was the biggest slap in the face—as he’d all but asked for this.
