The revival of Emon after the fall of the Chroma Conclave is something to be celebrated. And Vax'ildan realizes that these attackers are utilizing a unique plan of attack that will result in mass death and destruction... and will rely on Vox Machina themselves to essentially be the catalysts to trigger it all.

Summary
Lady Vex’ahlia and Lord Percival de Rolo walked many roads along their adventures with the legendary Vox Machina. The stories, romance, and places they explored hadn’t ceased when they expanded their family. The nobles called Whitestone home. However, these two could find comfort and excitement with one another — no matter where they went in Exandria.

Summary
Percival is old now.
He feels it in his body most of all. He first realized how bad it was when he woke up in pain and couldn’t remember a time when this wasn’t true. He sleeps in later now, stirring and opening his eyes slowly, most often to see Vex watching him with a smile. Without words, she’ll reach out to touch his face or hand and pour healing into him. It dulls the ache, but the pain never fully disappears.
His life has changed, as has he. Everything seems slower; his children rule Whitestone while he and Vex are left to dote on grandchildren. The castle is full of life. It’s ironic, he muses, given that he is dying. Not quickly, by any means, but his body has begun to fail. -

Summary
Lord Percival and Lady Vex'ahlia de Rolo opted for a rather casual date night at the Tipsy Quorum. The nobles teased one another with some mischievous, sexy bets at the tavern. When they returned to Gray Hunt Manor, the couple made excellent use of her powder room, his workshop, and a wonderful new glove the de Rolos referred to as Secrecy.

Summary
A deal was made. Vax'ildan was not part of the deal. Well, he was, technically, in that it was all about him, but he was never given any say in it! That kind of annoyed him. And gods, he thought that Percival had had enough of deals, dammit! He'd made deals with demons, and devils... and he scorned the gods! And yet, Percival--his Percival!-- had gone and made a deal with his Matron! The Raven Queen Herself!
When Vax'ildan had brought his beloved back to the Shadowfell, he had suspected that his Matron would not be pleased. At best, She would be irritated and annoyed. At worst, She would be downright furious. A couple of days after he snuck Percy in, he was summoned... and told to bring his fiancée with him. There was no refusing, so off they went. And that was when the Matron had dropped the bomb.
Her Champion, Vax'ildan, had a destiny to fulfill. It was his duty to sire a new line of Celestial Raven Warriors for Her. And then, She proposed Her deal to Percy: should he agree to undertake the physical changes to his body, and the burden of bearing Her Champion's offspring... She would allow him to stay.
... And Percy said yes.

Summary
Whitestone was quiet. It was late, but not late enough that no one was out. Vax didn’t bother knocking on the bedroom door – he’d honestly rather Percy be indecent than decent – and walked inside. Percy was sitting in bed, reading a book. He smiled when he heard the bedroom door close, but it dropped the moment he saw his husband.

Summary
In the Aftermath of the Sealing of the Whispered One, there is still defeat within the victory. There is still grief. For a great loss was still suffered. One of Vox Machina, the Heroes of Exandria, had made a deal with the Matron of Ravens, and they had to make good on their deal. And Vax'ildan was lost to them, taken by his Matron, to fulfill his duty, as he had sworn he would. And those who were left behind, grieved. But none grieved as deeply as the Lord of Whitestone. He had lost so much already, and it seemed that this loss might be the one to break him... But wandering in the Shadowfell, in the Palace of the Raven Queen, the Champion of Ravens stumbles across something very unexpected... perhaps the separation is not as vast as it had seemed to be... but he cannot let anyone know about what he has found. Especially not the Raven Queen, or all will be lost, all over again...

Summary
Whitestone Castle was haunted.
Many thought it was because of the Briarwoods.
Others said it had happened because of Melanie Von Musel.
There were those who said it wasn’t the castle, but the Lord himself, acting like a ghost and forgetting he was still alive.

Summary
Percival was desperately attempting to teach a traditional Whitestone waltz to Vax. It was something Vax was expected to know, as Percy’s husband. Given Vax had been putting off learning it since their wedding, they were now rushing the lessons in time for an important ball with nobles from across Tal'Dorei.
Vax had never been good at formal dances, but Percy was nothing if not determined. Even if Vax would much rather undress him than actually give the dance a shot.

Summary
The creatures had come from a rift between Syngorn and Byroden. They were horrible parasites, voraciously attaching themselves to any host they could find, and draining them of their life force until the host eventually died, before seeking a new host to take their place. And thus far, once attached to a host, no one had been able to find a way to remove them, without killing the host, too. Vox Machina was called out to close the rift and to take some of these creatures alive, to be studied, so that hopefully, someone could figure out how to save the victim-hosts before it was too late. Closing the rift was easy enough. Capturing these creatures with the swarm all around them? That was a bit more challenging… and eventually, their luck ran out. When one of the creatures managed to get the drop on Vax’ildan, Percy saved him just in time. But at the cost of leaving himself open. And he paid the price. As fast as Vax was, he wasn’t fast enough to stop the horrible parasite from attaching itself to the gunslinger. All he could do was watch, as Percy dropped… the creature attached to the back of his skull. And now, the sand in the hourglass was on the move, draining out as this creature was draining Percy’s life…

Vex’ahlia had work to do; important, Coinmistress of Tal'Dorei work to do. Yet, when Percy pays her a visit in the treasury, Vex is instead treated to a fantasy. In it, she learns that the main difference between a fantasy and reality is logistics, but that doesn't make it any less fun.
