Summary
This story takes place at the same time of Ending "E". It is located in the Eurasian zone, close to Ural mountains. The main characters are 5B and Mika. The story contains some spoilers about the ending of the game. It will be released as a series of chapters on a regular basis (hopefully, weekly). It will not be a story about fighting (even though some fighting will occur) and it will not be a story about romance (even though there will be some faint hints). It will just be a little story about two very different kind of living beings, that gradually will get to know and understand each other. But will their remaining lifespan allow it?

Continuing on from ending E, where 9S and 2B are repaired by their pods.
9S and 2B struggle to find their purpose in a world where YoRHa is no longer around. For 2B, she is unsure of what to do with herself now that she no longer needs to fight. For 9S, he doesn't know what to do about his feelings for 2B. He is desperately in love with her, but she is completely oblivious when it comes to such things. What awaits them in this new chapter of life, where they are finally free to do what they want to do, instead of what they are ordered to do?

It disgusts him, making him sometimes failing his hacking deliberately when 2B's about to get attacked. Letting her sustain the damage she shouldn't have gotten. Leaving her to fall on the ground and trampled by machines as he watched from afar. Compared to what 2B had done to him, over and over and over again; letting her die and lose a few hours of memory sounds like a minor crime.
