In the World of Attack on Titan, Eren and Mikasa never displayed any sort of potential, or even want, to truly deal with problems outside of Paradise. Much as one dreamed of Freedom, the internal issues of Paradis Island took precedence. Another simply was far to bound to the Boy to ever desire more than that.
But, in another World, one where Adventure can be found everywhere, Eren and Mikasa are born in a world that is both far kinder, but all the more crueler to them at Birth. Mikasa Ackerman is born like a Force of Nature and Eren Yeager finds himself under a certain Pirates apprenticeship.
In this New World, there is no Eldian Discrimination.
So, the question is:
How do a boy and a girl live in the positions (and their problems) of notorious people, while living as close to themselves in a world that is both more forgiving, but just as if not more unforgiving than the world they originate from?
