However he finds a mysterious injured man, with flaming hair unconscious on his family shedd only to later know that this man was a demon!
Knowing it was dangerous to have the man here, Tanjiro kept the demon hidden inside his family's shedd.
The only people who knows is his family.
Tanjiro spend time with the demon, curious why the man hasn't eaten any of them.
The demon also didn't understand why the boy is being so kind to him.
As they got closer, their feelings became something more than just friends.
But like in Tanjiro's life, nothing lasts forever.

However, she won't complain that the demon instincts of the body to eat human flesh are gone or that she has full access to all of Nezuko abilities which she was meant to unlock later on in the show, but oh well it just makes her mission much easier.
