"Volo- Volo, stop-"
"Worry not, my friend! I know what I am doing!"
There was a squelch, and more sawing of the needle, and Tavor could barely breathe as another spasm of pain lanced through him.

Summary
It was the smallest he had ever looked to Astarion, but there was no comfort to be found in it. Astarion thought he had seen every twisted mask that face was capable of – from sadistic pleasure to bored detachment and everything in between – but he was wrong. The icy hatred in Cazador’s eyes was a novelty that chilled Astarion to his core, and he knew his master would not rest until he made his creation regret the day it stepped out of line.
Astarion and his companions prevented Cazador from completing the Ascension, but his former master escaped before they could strike a killing blow. Now, in the wake of the Absolute's defeat, Astarion has no choice but to wait and see what form Cazador's revenge might take.

Summary
“What the hell was that?”
Kovin had led Gale a little distance away from their camp before turning on him with accusing eyes.
“What do you mean?” Gale asked, confused.
Kovin arched his brows. “What do I mean? I mean you and the spawn ogling each other like horny teenagers. I really thought you had more respect for me than that.”
Gale didn’t know what to say. He hadn’t talked much to Kovin since the… Orb incident. Now, he wasn’t entirely sure what he was being accused of, though he had a sinking suspicion.
“We have something, don’t we?” Kovin asked, a tinge of worry in his voice. “Was it all just in my head? I didn’t take you for someone who’d fool around for fun.”Following the game, but Tav/Kovin has sinister intentions and Astarion is the only one who sees it.

Summary
He gets drunk on a boar one night then goes three days without drinking at all.
He gorges himself on goblin blood until he makes himself sick with it and vomits it back up in a nearby bush.
Despite their pact, Wyll’s seen him eying their own necks more than once, though a pointed look and a raised eyebrow are often enough to turn his attention elsewhere.
And no matter how big or small the meal, unless it’s in the heat of battle, he drains the beast dry - as though every sip might be his last.
Astarion's feeding habits are not Wyll's business.
Until they are.
