Joyce’s soothing voice tore open the vault the Professor had been locking her emotions in for so long. Her fur grew damp from all the tears raining down, and her hands scraped against her eyes in a desperate attempt to keep her vulnerability in. Kate and Joyce rushed over to the Professor, patting her back and whispering words to ease whatever plague was afflicted on her.
“I-I’m…” the Professor sniffed, grabbing the hand of Kate who immediately stroked hers. “I… I need to confess something to y’all, but you better promise not to tell anyone about this, o-okay?”
The two women crossed their hearts and leaned towards the Professor.
“Seeing y’all so happy made me realize I… I don’t like being a woman.”

Summary
To say that he wasn’t sure what to think of the sudden development would be the understatement of the millennium.
The last time he’d been able to call somewhere home had been an eternity ago, a relic of the life he’d lived before finding the Genie and a time and place that he only had fragmented, hollow memories of. Home was fuzzy static in the corners of his mind, voices he couldn’t place no matter how hard he tried, the feeling that he'd given up something far greater than he'd ever understand - to try and change that definition when his life had for so long depended on moving from place to place fast enough to avoid that wretched loser Genie had been a fool’s task. It was far easier to take on more temporary housing solutions whenever he caused yet another temporal anomaly and the endless cycle of cat and mouse started up again – a villa in Pompeii here, a tent in Valley Forge there - than to stay anywhere (or with anyone) long enough for him to try and find home again.
Yet here he was, only a few weeks into his apparently permanent stay in 21st century Los Angeles, and he was already calling the dang place home as if he'd lived there his entire life.

Instead of waiting for an answer, they planned to get the puppets out of there. They even argued with God over it, or rather the Professor did since Ryan was too mentally out-of-it from the absolute absurdity of this situation.
And what did God give to them in return for winning? A bus. To drive to the Wondrium Arena. ‘Cause what better way to rescue a bunch of dead puppets than crashing a bus into their purgatory?

Ryan and the Professor wandered around the Californian streets, trudging through the unbearable heat as they searched for a meal that would carry them through the rest of the afternoon. Obviously, the best meal to fulfill that role would be a nice hot bowl of ramen that was so spicy a famous ramen restaurant made it a challenge to see who could eat the entire bowl in 30 minutes.
It was a tremendous challenge to take on, but if the Professor could get a stegosaurus plush that looked like his dinosona, then they’re willing to take it on. Besides, they won’t be doing it alone. Several familiar faces, namely Policarpa's Spool, the Beast of Gévaudan and the Gay Oars, will also be participating in this challenge together. What a hell of a bonding moment! And it certainly won’t be one they will be forgetting any time soon.
