He woke up, and immediately knew it was a fight for his life. It always was, the few times this happened. He couldn't focus on anything else, just the enemies around him... And the interesting little thing he had to protect, at all costs.

When the monster child asked the actor if he was a Hero, he had no idea what he was getting himself into by saying yes. A Heroswap fic.

Summary
RGB doesn't pop into our current Hero's home to recruit her. Instead, he ends up in a little backwards town smack in the middle of Oregon. Down there among the redwood trees, there's Fears and other dangers prowling the shadows, and the wall between the world of Make Believe and reality seems thinner than ever.
(Alternatively, garbage boy stink man meets the Pines family. Shit hits the fan.)

Summary
The new people in town were wrong.
There was truly no other way to put it. Each of them had something just the littlest bit off about them, each in their own unique way. It was, to put it gently, a little creepy. To put it honestly, however;
Well, they were downright terrifying.

Summary
It's the middle of the night. Hero is already asleep, as a young girl should be.
RGB just can't. He pretends he doesn't know why.
(occurs sometime after the events of 504.)

Different people should be handled differently. RGB tries to match his handling to his heroes. (It's not appreciated.)

Summary
A tin soldier hands a child a gun, and asks what heroes do to monsters. She tells him her answer, and he attacks her for it.
(But then, he was a hero himself, once. The first after RGB himself, even. There are reasons he reacts to this so strongly, for all we may disagree with them.)

Summary
"The kids in town were asking if there were mermaids out by the rocks," Hero said eventually, once her father's mug had long been empty but was still cradled in his thin fingers.
"There's no such thing," her father answered evenly. To Hero, swimming has always come more naturally than walking. According to father, the local lighthouse keeper, their family is cursed and the ocean is only a source of danger. A chance encounter with a mermaid turns both of their worlds upside down, and sends each on their own quest where they must ask themselves what exactly they're willing to trade to get what they want.

Summary
The problem with a mask is that eventually, you can’t take it off.
All those small things you try to cover up. How much you care. How sad you really are. That you aren’t “just tired”. Not in the literal sense. A sort of tired that goes deeper than just needing sleep. A deeper need. A need for catharsis. For some kind of sign that you’re on the right path.
The pile of bodies behind him said otherwise.
It builds up like plaster. The mask either cracks, or it soaks it’s way into your pores. Becoming a sort of exoskeleton. A defense mechanism.
One that he was still learning to peel off. Little by little. Scraping away at the odds and ends of what used to be him. All with the help of a little girl, and his new family.

Summary
As soon as their gazes locked, RGB felt a surge of emotion flow through him. He knew this man, this monster, whoever he was. But… his name. Heavens above, why couldn’t he remember his name?
The prism-head stared at RGB for much longer than was comfortable for either of them. The telly began to fidget, his mouth a thin line at the bottom of his screen.
“I didn’t think I’d see you again,” the tall, wire-framed man began, sounding as if his words were stuck to his throat (of which he had none, floating head and all).
“As did I,” RGB replied. He didn’t have much to say to the familiar face, but it felt rude to not reply at all.Series
