Liam looks insane next to Max, who wears her RedBull kit, the cap and the shirt and the normal ass jeans. Liam looks fake, even, like a model playing at being a driver, but she doesn’t even care. Her nails are long and sharp, stilletto, and they shine against the microphones of journalists like a knife. They’re painted a dark, deep blue metallic, with silvery accents, and Liam loves them. She’s going to miss them when she has to pop them off for the race, but she loves them now.
Max looks at them like a foreign object, and Liam feels a little embarrassed, just for a moment, until it’s clear that Max literally just has no clue what they really are. It’s a little fun, to dig them into Max’s arm, to watch Max grapple with Liam’s nails, with Liam’s face.
Because, well, Liam’s not fucking stupid. She’s fucking beautiful, but she's not stupid.
