As their relationship progressed, Clark restarted his touches and lingering stares. He was trying to tell Bruce that he was ready, that he knew that Bruce was genuine, that he was ready for the next step. In his panic, in his fear, in his guilt and his shame, all Bruce had been able to do was play Clark’s advances off, pretend that he didn’t notice, pretend that he didn’t stay up all night stirring in his bed, bracing himself for the inevitable day when Clark stated his needs out loud, leaving Bruce unable to play dumb any longer.
Today was that day.

The well-practiced steps of the dance would keep your mind off of the glaring omissions you had made when offering him a relationship. For what supposedly started as an ancient fertility ritual, the flower dance was quite sexless. But the part that followed is what had you worried. The two of you had snuck away from the festival early, and headed back to your house for a moment alone. And there was no choreography for this part.
