It grins at him unkindly, the perfect set of teeth slowly transforming into razor-sharp fangs - only inches from Mark’s face, waiting to rip him apart. The human eyes turn a terrible pitch black, the colour expanding in tiny tendrils over his cheeks. Mark tries not to gulp.
It is fear that he’s feeling. Surely.
