Summary
It was the beginning of summer break… and Max seemed off. During a visit at scoops ahoy on the first day Dustin says goodbye before he leaves for his science camp. All the while Lucas notices Max’s indifference and tries to comfort her. Billy calls out for her a they leave the mall.
When Max doesn’t meet the party the next day like usual the party goes to her house only to find out she left… but where ?
Max comes back towards the end of summer and it’s like she’s a whole different person, she’s guarded, and she clings more to Billy than she ever has.
What happens when Max leaves the beginning of summer break and comes back towards the end of their summer break and the party sees that she’s different, will the party be able to figure out this case? And will Dustin’s smart ex girlfriend be able to help them solve the case or will there be an interference..?

In the process, she struggles to put down her baby to take care of herself with the worry she’ll lose her aswell. Lucas talks her through it, reassuring her that she were to be okay.
“Please don’t ever get tired of me.” Max whispers softly in Lucas’s ear. “Max,” Lucas begins with a soft sigh. “I waited for you for two years, been with you for ten. I don’t think I’m getting tired of you any time soon.” He adds.

Gwen and David exchange a horrified look. Gwen gently grabs Maxs face, pulling him so that he’s looking at her. He’s horrified of what they’ll think of him.
“I know I’m gross, I swear I’m- I didn’t want it. I didn’t.” Max continues, swearing he didn’t want it, swearing he said no. He’s working himself back into a panic but he barely notices, barely notices when his breath starts hitching, when his throat’s closing up, when his eyes start stinging again.
There’s a pair of arms wrapping around him. Gwen’s pulling him to her chest, hushing him quietly and pulling him onto her lap. She rocks the both of them side to side.
“Shh.. you’re not gross, we know you didn’t want it. It’s going to be okay.” David moves closer to the two, he doesn’t make a move to touch Max, simply sitting close by. Gwen looks at him, tears building up in her own eyes. She can’t believe someone would do something so horrible to a kid.
Or: Max has a nightmare and goes to the counselors cabin in the middle of the night.
