Two empty pocky boxes later, Kaito boasted swollen lips and hickeys scattered across the skin from the neck downwards. Shuichi knew he was in a similar state, having long since abandoned his black turtleneck after Kaito tugged it off to continue mapping Shuichi’s skin with his lips.
Shuichi, true to his detective nature, prodded at Kaito despite the ambient atmosphere cloaking them both. “So, you've thought about this for a while?“
“No. No, it's just something... that crossed my mind today.“ Gauging the pauses in Kaito’s speech and how jittery Kaito became after the question, Shuichi could tell that it hadn’t been his first time.

Summary
Shuichi pressed his lips against Kaito's skin—a silent apology for missing so much time beside him—fluttering his face with kisses beginning from his forehead, down to his cheeks and onto his nose before placing a chaste kiss onto his lips. Kaito’s lips were chapped, he noted. Later today, he devised a plan to sneakily apply lip balm by kissing him.
A ghost of a smile played on Kaito's lips, and before Shuichi could react, arms wrapped around his middle and plopped him on top of Kaito. Among one eye cracked open, his lips curled into a small grin—a private one reserved for him—effectively shutting his brain up and replacing it with the gentle buzz of adoration.

“No.” Kokichi said dismissively. He slammed his fridge open harder than necessary and saw Saihara flinch when it hit his chair.
