Jungwon had never been excited for the class before, has heard from some students that it was taken by some old man with a pot belly who didn't pay attention to the questions the students had and only read from old papers that weren't up-to-date with the current affairs of the world so Jungwon more or less just prayed to be done with the class since he had to take it. It was an elective course so he just chose it because everyone else chose statistical analysis of data and that didn't sound appealing to him one bit.
So imagine his pure surprise when the new professor walked into the class, his books in his hand and a soft, eye crinkle smile on his face, his glasses sitting atop that pointed nose of his.
Jungwon swooned .
Or; Jungwon has a not so little crush on his history research professor.

Jay grins. “This isn’t admiration. This is art school-level infatuation.”
Now Heesung can’t stop thinking about the artist who saw him half-asleep and still made him look like art. He says it’s “just good drawing.”
But part of him knows—someone’s been watching closely.
And he kind of wants to know who.

Jungwon carefully glances up at Jay, his throat feeling dry. “I want to live here.” Jungwon states, loud and clear, and that takes Jay by surprise as a cough escapes his throat after hearing Jungwon’s audacious and out-of-nowhere request.
“What?“ Jay asks, his voice rising in disbelief.

Why?
There’s many reasons for Jungwon to be scared.
First of all, Jungwon doesn’t know them. He doesn’t know what they can do — both to him and his life. He doesn’t know their intentions. Riki stares him down, looks him straight in the eye like a challenge. A race to give him an answer he deems satisfying. An invitation to pull the answer out of Jungwon’s throat with his bare hands. Jungwon exhales through an open heart, and concludes it was safe to say this: He's scared.
Or, Jungwon moves out of his mothers house the moment he can afford to, to finally get away from her. What awaits him at his new house, though—men who come out of broken marbles, an old dog, and strange neighbors—he did not sign up for.
