Summary
This is the continuation of my slow burn Loghain fic. Read Midnight Sun before reading this one. This continues the story of Rhiannon Cousland and Loghain Mac Tir as they face the unknown following the end of the Blight. It begins soon after the final battle.
The Archdemon has been slain and the Blight ended. Now begins the task of rebuilding the Ferelden Order. Rhiannon is faced with a new life and a new purpose, both of which prove to be far more difficult than she could have imagined. Endless titles, endless duties. The life of a hero is nothing like in those fairy tales she read when she was a little girl. With her friends returned to their old lives and others to their new ones, there are very few she can rely on in this new life of her own. But there is one person who remains by her side, guiding her and supporting her through all she does. A novelization of my favorite playthrough with many liberties taken with the source material. This is my first posted work so be gentle :).
The youngest Cousland child had an ulterior function to fill within the Kings court, a protector of the prince that none would suspect. Enemies would evade guards and soldiers, even other noble and royal men. But who would suspect a young Teyrna withing the young prince's inner circle of being a threat to all who wished the boy harm? The Divine traditionally had a left hand, why not the heir to the Ferelden throne. Cirilla Cousland was once the shadow of Ferelden's throne until she was released from her service three years ago. Now a blight threatens the wilds of Ferelden's south.

Scenes are a lore-friendly retelling (with occasional Epistolary moments) of DA:O's timeline around the time of the Arl of Redcliffe and Landsmeet quests. Kallian Tabris and Bann Teagan take their flirtatious banter further and start a romantic relationship as the world is collapsing around them. Most chapters should accompany character art I'm painting and adding as I go.This is an unfinished fic (yet), but Chapter 17 has a soft ending of sorts if you'd like closure. Bookmark it if interested in more once I return to it! It will take time, tho. :')
