So my story is set in the time before the dropship with the 100 delinquents hit the ground. It's going to be an unofficial prequel of The 100 and is basically about the grounders, their culture, the different clans...and of course Lexa. An exciting beginning? The explosion at the Conclave would certainly tick that box.
Dramatic tension in the background? The Mage-Templar war was still raging, so check on that as well.
Quirky characters? Himself aside, the aggressive Seeker, the elven apostate, and the mysterious spymaster were interesting, to say the least.
The only thing missing was a good hero. And that, too, was resolved, when rumors came of a man, the sole survivor of the Conclave, who walked out of the Fade heralded by Andraste herself. Honestly, Varric couldn’t have written it better himself.
Or, well. He wouldn’t have picked Choir Boy, of all people, but… beggars can’t be choosers.
