It's another Eragon rewrite. I think you have all learned by now that though I thoroughly enjoy the individual characters, I'm not sold on Paolini's version of events. Eragon and Murtagh are raised in Morzan's castle, together, at least for a little while. Everything changes when Eragon is sent/taken away from the estate. He is an angry child, but when you're raised by a forsworn, there isn't much else you can expect.
This summary will be changed as the story goes on. As per usual, not following any sort of guideline and writing whatever comes out of my brain. I really should be focusing on Disparate Book II and Home, but this has been nagging at me and now I'm writing three stories and trying to keep them straight.
I fixed chapter three. Part of it got all jumbled when I was editing and I didn't realize. Sorry!
Eragon is ten at the start of the story and twenty when things really get going.
Eragon has poor mental health and develops severe PTSD. People with poor mental health make poor decisions and he makes a few of those. There aren't exactly any therapist running around. Things will be rough, but will get better. His mental health is a major factor in this story.

Important note: this work was inspired by A Rider's Legacy by Ravenof_Flame. Because of that, it will start quite similar to it. Many of the beginning chapters will be very similar, despite me trying later on to add details to make them different, but ultimately I want to send this story in a different direction than the author did, so please give this a try.
Oh, and read the original work. The story is nice.
