The Felt just opened their lasted front in their brand new terf, called the "English Pocket Cafe". However, it turns out that this is new terf to them and there is an already established crew running the shop across the street. Orders come down from above and Crowbar is sent out to gather information to bring the other group down. Little did The Felt realize that The Midnight Crew wouldn't go down without a fight, and maybe in it all some people get feelings for some other people.

Opportunities come as quick as they go. For every door that closes, though, another one opens, and there's very seldom anything good behind them. The job opportunities aren't what make the city worth living in. Those are the doors that are bound to open to you.

Trace got home from a long day of cheating people at the casino, sweaty, exhausted, with a couple new bruises for the wear. A nice, bright shiner right on the eye, and a busted lip beyond his typical amount of busted lip, causing his under bite to swell out just a little bit more than it typically did, teeth jutting upwards uncomfortably out of his mouth. Well, uncomfortable for anyone not named Trace, who had lived as such a dental marvel for his entire life, and was now very much used to it, even with the tight braces mandated by his significant other slowly pulling his teeth back into place. It was a good thing he didn't take too many lumps, because if he snapped a wire, he'd have to go back to the dentist and get it fixed, and he really hated dentist chairs.

The fact that Sawbuck’s own use lay in his ability to withstand harm and stall enemies was an unfortunate one when combined with his more skittish and non-confronting personality. But it was the best way for him to be of use so he would do his best to do what was needed of him when the time called for it.

After a particularly bloody battle, the Felt finds they are missing one of their members. After months of searching, they declare that Trace is probably dead, victim to that... Thing they were fighting before. But without a body for proof, Fin just won't have it. He gathers together a small group of his teammates who have agreed to assist him in looking for their missing friend. When it looks like it's at its worst, things get even more complex when the monster they ran into ends up causing time shenanigans, further lowering the odds of finding their missing friend by screwing up their powers.
