At one moment in Zaun, Powder's life was falling apart. Her family was basically dead save for Vi, who wanted nothing to do with her at the moment, the guilt was eating her from the inside out, and the voices in her mind were yelling, screaming at her that it was all over.
At the same moment in the City, Angela's life was just about to start after it was denied for a million years. When a stroke of coincidence and, perhaps more accurately, fate intervene by inviting a particularly small, blue-haired guest from across half of earth before the Library's grand opening, she can only trust her Library to know what it was doing.
Bear witness as both of their lives are changed forever in a journey of wonder, longing, and forgiveness, forged by their own fears and pain, and how it goes on to change both of their world, much like it changed them.

Summary
Silco's... not a good parent. As much as he loves his daughter, he has a few flaws when it comes to her. But he can explain it all away, from slipping drugs into her tea to keep her his perfect little girl to keeping her safe away from the world. He can even explain giving her to the Enforcers in exchange for Zaun - after all, they've given their word that Jinx is not to be harmed.
Ekko, meanwhile, went to the bridge upon overhearing the Enforcers' plans to capture Jinx on their radios - she's too far gone, and as the last person who knew Powder as well as the leader of the Firelights, it's his job to put her down.
But after rescuing her instead upon realizing Jinx is still at least a little Powder, when he learns that 'Jinx' the persona isn't real but instead a defense mechanism, upon learning about the drugs in her system and the pain and fear inflicted on her, he insists she can be saved.
And thus begins the rest of her life.
(Featuring childhood-friends-to-enemies-to-friends-to-lovers Timebomb, a complicated relationship between Jinx and Silco, genius Firelight bioengineer Jinx/Powder, and Jinx proving she's stronger and better than anyone gives her credit for.)

Summary

Jinx and Vi Lane had hoped their trip to Demacia would be a good one, a chance for them to repair their broken sisterhood and get closer again. But after they get lost on their way to the city, they both get attacked by a wolf-like creature late at night. Only Jinx survives, bitten on the leg. Vi isn't so lucky, mutilated and torn apart by the evil beast. By the time help arrives to shoot the beast, it's too late.
Worst of all, it's revealed to be a man who did the crime. But no mere man would've had the strength to do all that.
Under the tender and kind watch of Nurse Lux Crownguard, Jinx is nursed back to health. But nothing is the same again. She's having terrible nightmares, she's haunted by her dead sister's corpse who claims that she's now destined to be a monster who kills on the full moon, and her body is going through strange changes.
