Passed from generation to generation, the power of the Sparda lineage seems to be doomed to extinction, at least that's what Dante imagined. With the recognition of his kinship with Nero and everything Vergil revealed during their stay in Hell, Dante had realized how wrong his judgments were and conclude that, even though he mistakenly thought he had seen everything in this life, it was still possible to be surprised by new revelations.
