The turtles are growing bored as the threat of the Krang and the Foot is now out of the way. Perhaps visiting their human friend will help cure their boredom. But then there's the issue of April's presumably new boyfriend... and something about April having a boyfriend doesn't sit right with Leo.
EDIT: full disclosure, when i wrote this i was new to the fandom and 100% didn't realise the turtles weren't like, 19 in the Bay movies, so with that in mind, please think of them as 19+ because of my poor planning :))
