Promised better lives for their children, Marina’s family sent them all away to different locations in pursuit of what was promised to them. But when brought to the doorsteps of the Golden Cat, it was evident of what her better life would be. Though, she refused to succumb and became one of the more popular, allowing her to choose for herself.
But that right was taken from her when an Assassin infiltrated the Golden Cat on the opening day. Once a cover-up was made and the blood was scrubbed clean, the Golden Cat finally opened and to her horror, Madame Prudence took over her schedule.
And who was the top payer?
Corvo Attano, the Queen Killer. The traitor.
