When they stepped out of the ruins, the world was different. Gone were the moss-covered rubble and the thick forest. Instead, there was a neat stone road that lead out of the ruins. The ruins, that when they looked behind them, looked less crumbling and more well maintained. They didn’t look like ruins at all.
What did this mean? They asked each other in bafflement. It wasn’t until they walked down the road to the bustling city that it led to that they realized what had happened. Olberic was the one to recognize the banners that hung from the city walls. They were the banners of Hornburg. Somehow, after the group had wandered out of the ruins, they had traveled back in time. Back in time to when Hornburg still stood, and back before the events that drawn them together was set in motion. Somehow, they had been given the chance to undo everything.

The simple silver necklace is hopefully just what he needs to keep his secret, after all for him it can be a matter of life and death should the Knights Ardante catch wind of his true nature.
Alfyn has always been horrible at keeping secrets.
