Mike sighs barely audibly — if corpses could die from heartbreak, he probably would — and gently, silently, as soft as he can, he pushes the door open.
He leaves quietly, just like he has been living for the past few decades, before the sun rises; he sends Jeremy a message saying that Henry has called him because some paperwork nonsense had to be dealt with. He powers off the phone and throws it in the most remote inner pocket of his bag. He starts the car and does not even dare put the radio on.

Gregory twists his neck to look behind him at the same time the thing does, and he gasps.
Evan floats in the doorway, form shaking, but eyes hard and dark.
(Gregory meets Evans ghost during SB, and after a long night of bonding, Vanessa finally catches Gregory and brings him to The Mimic, whos mimicking Afton and thinks Gregory is his son, Evan. Evan saves him.)
