Summary
The Puppeteer tilts his head. “They say you wear more gold than any king and the last sound a man hears before you snap his neck is the chink of your jewellery.”
“I don’t kill,” Techno denies even though he's seconds away from keeling over, the inside of his boots slippery with his own blood. “Pretty stupid to wear jewelry too. Dead giveaway.”
The hero chuckles coldly. “What happened to the Eggpire, then?"
Color drains from Techno's face as he finally understands what the Puppeteer's return means for him, that in the eyes of the hero he's as much a villain as Skeppy was.
The man leans forward and Techno nearly jumps into the icy river all by himself, the eerie smiley face too much to bear. “Tell me, Caesar, do you at least remember the names of those you killed?”
Before Techno can react in any way the Puppeteer brutally grabs his scarf and tugs, slowly strangling him with Tommy's late christmas present. He desperately latches onto the hero’s fingers, trying to pry them off but failing.
“His name was Sapnap,” The Puppeteer snarls. “And he was a good man.”
Aka the vigilante!Technoblade fic where Techno just wants to be a good person but ends up making things a whole lot worse.

Tommy sat still. He reached into his jacket pocket, his hand finding only a plastic pen. Could he stab this man with a plastic pen?
Tommy pulled said piece of plastic out, visibly holding it up. “I have a pen.” Something about the bemused look on the man's face made Tommy click it, and again, repeatedly.

Tommy dreams of low, sleek cars and midnight races turning into police chases. The push of frantic fans trying to get the attention of their speed demon idols is a force he is far too familiar with. Every time he blinks, he can see the red tail lights that burn like the neon signs this city is known for. All of this accompanied by the sweet smell of cotton candy smoke that can only come from one thing; one slim device.
That, is his paradise; his world that he wants to belong in.
And the only way to do that, is by winning.
Each year, he tries his hardest to convince The King to let him drive in one of the biggest, illegal street races this bright city offers and for the past 3 years, he has been turned down.
This year is going to be different though. This year, Tommy has the best plan and it will work or else Tommy won't know what to do with himself.

Summary
The holidays are Tim's most favorite time of year.
He doesn't mean that like most people mean it, where they say "holidays," but they really only celebrate the one, and all the others are just happening at the same time. Tim celebrates ALL the holidays.
He's usually very good at keeping the various family tradition stories straight, too. He's been Jewish; he's been Christian; he's been pagan; he's been Muslim. Sometimes all at the same time. But this year...well, this year the Waynes are suddenly getting involved, and Tim starts to realize how hard it is to keep stories straight and less-than-stellar upbringings hidden when people are actually listening to you.
It's weird, Tim decides. And he's not sure he likes it.
(A year in the life of Tim Drake, as told through the various holiday parties of the Gotham elite and the unexpected lessons on privilege, bias, and various -isms that come with 'em. And maybe a little bit of friendship and understanding along the way, since we all know this has to end with Tim joining the Batfam early, right?)
