They barely have time to disembark the ship on Ajan Kloss before cuffs are slapped on Ben’s wrists. Two burly looking men Rey doesn’t recognize hold him up as they secure the bindings; his leg is broken and he has hardly enough strength to keep his eyes open, let alone stand.
“He needs to be put into bacta,” Rey barks at them, lifting Ben’s chin as his head lolls forward.
“He’ll go wherever Commander D’Acy orders him to go,” the man on his left replies, staring at Ben’s near-lifeless form with simmering contempt. “Trial, then execution, I’d wager.”

Ben shifted so that they sat across from each other, sand dusting his dark grey pants – a grey she had told him was too dark a colour for this climate. "When I brought you back, that was the happiest I'd ever been." He tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear.
"Then you faded away and I… I felt so alone," she said, her voice breaking with emotion. Her gaze never wavered.

Darkness is defined as the absence of light and does not—cannot—exist on its own. Starships travel at light speed and the Sith fought with lightsabers. There is no power that is not borrowed from the light.
The light overpowers and conquers and consumes. It’s indescribably fast and unthinkably small; it passes through every crack and crevice and regardless of how the story went, one outcome is strikingly clear: there is no world in which Kylo Ren would have lasted. It was always going to end with Ben Solo.
