This story takes place after Pomni enters Jax's mind following his abstraction.
In this AU, the characters are not brain scans. They are real humans trapped by a rogue AI while their physical bodies remain in the real world.
A secret Organization finds them and takes care of them.
This story includes FunnyBunny (Pomni x Jax), Gangle x Zooble, Father Figure Kinger, and a platonic friendship between Ribbit and Jax. It also features a femboy interpretation of Jax and uses a mix of canon and non canon names.
This story diverges heavily from canon and should be viewed as an alternate universe.

But hey, maybe they can get a whole new tolerable Jax out of the deal, so I guess they can just let Pomni cook a little here ...Jax looked at Pomni as if she’d just casually mentioned she was planning to throw herself off the nearest cliff. “I tell you I could basically abstract at any moment and your solution is … what?? That I should date you??”
“Because holing up alone in the dark and stewing in your feelings until you mutate is a better idea?” she asked flatly. “I am so tired of fighting to be allowed to be close to you. Especially when I care about you and I’m pretty sure you also care about me.” She flopped onto her back in frustration, still holding his hand in hers. “Even though I don’t know what the right thing to do for you is … I love you, and I’m going to keep you from losing your mind in here if it kills me.”
