Summary
Jason wakes up in his room in Nanda Parbat to a man's cut off groan, and then the wet thump of a body hitting the ground. When he looks up, he sees three guards splayed out on the ground, heads bloody and chests hardly rising. Above them stands Batman, cape billowing around him. The white lenses of his cowl focus on Jason as though he's the most fascinating thing he's ever seen.

Summary
Sure, his head was a little loopy and Bucky was having a hard time focusing on the oversaturated colours of the world, but his family was with him. Steve was with him, and that was enough. It somehow didn’t hurt in the way it was supposed to, but Bucky was damn well okay with that.
Or there’s monopoly, and a seizure, and avengers family feels™️ – yes, in that order.

Tony doesn’t want to think about what’s on his hands besides blood. His heartbeat feels pulpy. He lies as still as he can as if the shrapnel might stop its trajectory into his aorta if he does. He thinks about what they’ll do to him tomorrow, he thinks about what will happen to him if he capitulates instead. He wants to. He wonders which way gets him to death faster.

The detachment continued to grow: was this even his bed? Was Amy really with him? It all started to feel too confusing. He looked at Amy again, skin smooth and face scrunched up while she slept. The love he felt was overwhelming and he started to wonder how people ever survived with this feeling inside themselves. Another light flashed outside, but no sound accompanied it. Yet still he felt it say something to him, and he walked out of the bedroom, out of the front door and onto the street.
Jake dissociates and falls out into the city, hardly conscious, hardly aware of what's happening, while still blaming himself for everything.
