“This has to be some kind of conflict of interest,” Regulus says, his lip curling at James.
James shrugs, the idiot, “I don’t know.” His voice is weary, tired. He even looks tired, even though he’s been sleeping all day. In fact, he looks more than just a bit tired. There are deep, dark circles under his eyes, his hair is sticking up– and not in the endearing way it usually is– but simply out of control.
He’s thinner than he used to be, and his brown skin is sallow. Regulus’ eyes catch on the two massive bandages wrapping around his arms.
Jesus fuck.
Regulus had no idea James was… no. He couldn’t do this right now. He was here (and had been for some time now) to figure his own shit out. Not to worry about James’ suicidal ideations. Not to mention, he hated James. So this whole thing? It wasn’t going to work.

James stares at his best friend in disbelief, because what?
“Look, if you go on a date with Regulus, I can go out on my Moony date. My parents will realise that their stupid idea of cursing me with only getting to date once Regulus does didn’t work out because look at that, Regulus also dates! They reverse the magic, Regulus can happily go back to refusing to date anyone, I can go back happily dating Remus, and you can happily go back doing whatever you had planned to do this summer. Quidditch, I assume.”

If you want to read a one-shot story about Robin x Sabo, its in chapter 17: The Lawyer. I think you can read it as a one-shot story. There's a few context you might not get but I think its still pretty understandable. Please note that this is still a Robin x Law story so... But I did my best to be respectful of the Robin x Sabo ship. I think its a very demure, very cutesy story.
