Where once Anakin had occupied every thought in Obi-Wan’s mind, after his parting there was only silence and pain. He had cradled the lifeless body tightly against his chest, anguish and sorrow filling his heart as all around him the Force wept in agony at the murder of her son.
He would find a way to get Anakin back, to have him by his side and never lose him again, even if it cost him everything he had.
