After a fight with Dan and the staff of time, Danny's connection to his powers is severed when he is stuck back in time. No matter what he tries he cant transform, he doesn't know where he is and he can barely remember how he got to... "Metropolis".
Searching for a way to not only keep himself alive but to fight off this sense of impending dread he can't remember the cause of, all while looking for a way back to his family is really stressing him out. Not to me mention there are droplets of ectoplasm here. Well maybe droplets isn't the right word... more like crystals? Wait... what's that up in the sky?! A man floating in midair... SHOOTING LASERS?! HIS PARENTS AREN'T CRAZY! GHOSTS ARE REAL?!

Not to mention the looming threat of some all-powerful titan that had his eyes set on Earth next.
