"I didn't know where else to go," Mu Qing says instead of answering before promptly collapsing to the ground, only to be caught by a pair of arms. They're strong, and he thinks Feng Xin says something, but he's already losing consciousness, far too gone to make out what the words might be. Ranboo wakes up to the sound of singing.
He just allows himself to lie there in bed, for a moment, basking in the warmth. It must not have been too long since Tubbo and Tommy got up - the spots on either side of Ranboo are still warm. They’re obviously wide awake, though, by the sounds of it. Tommy’s practically yelling, either forgetting or not caring about the fact that Ranboo was asleep until now; Tubbo’s voice is just audible, pitched quieter than Tommy’s.
A small grin tugs at Ranboo’s lips as he rises out of bed.
