“Happy Valentine’s Day?” You voice lilts upwards at the end. That wasn’t supposed to be a question, nor were you supposed to sound sheepish about it. Being wedged between a handsome man and a door wasn’t helping you say-words-good. It pulls a chuckle from him and he finally relents, retracting his arm and it’s warmth, but it doesn’t travel far as he stays rooted in place. You try and fail to not think about it.
“A happy Valentine’s Day to you as well, my dear. Is there anything I can do for you?” His eyes flicker to your lopsided bauble-boy on the counter while your brain processes the small endearment he had just graced you with. You swallow and brace yourself.

The wench had pressed a solution-drenched swab into the gaping hole in his thigh.

This was so good. I love the meta-game-aspect this whole thing concludes into in this final chapter. The way things were going, it really felt like there was no way things were going to conclude in a place that wouldn't leave MC in more or less danger, so the end is quite fitting.
Also, MC really feels like demo-MC where all this shit is happening, and all these frustratingly attractive strangers won't tell them shit, and they just have to fuckin ride it out. That was a very nostalgic feeling. Dunno if that's what you were aiming for, but it feels relvant to point out and i applaud it.
Mhin curled around MC breaks my dang heart, but i also love that kind of tragedy to bits.
Though it was very hilarious of Kuras to show up paternally-disappointed to a burned down Wet Wick I'll say.
Your end notes are wonderful. I too, draft my tragically-fated stories in meme-format as well :D
But there was no Mhin or Kuras smooching tho I'm gonna have to give it a 0/10. (jk i loved this to bits. Def one of my favorite TS fics. Please keep at it. This is wonderful.)
