    Summary

Nancy stared at her, her expression shifted. Not angry. Not hurt. Focused. Eerily similar to her I'm gonna commit a crime face. “Robin.”

“Nancy?” Robin tilted her head. “Why are you looking at me like that?”

Nancy stepped closer. Close enough that Robin’s back brushed the edge of the desk behind her. Then her hands fell to Robin's hips, keeping her in place,

“Robin Buckley,” Nancy deliberately tipped her head up so their gazes were locked, “I underestimated how catastrophically bad you're at social cues.”

Robin huffed. “Rude, I told you I was.”

    “Look at me.”

Robin did. She always did when Nancy asked like that.

“We have been dating,” Nancy said slowly, enunciating every word, “for nearly six months.”

    Or,

Steve is needling Robin into finally landing herself a girlfriend—both unaware she already has one at home.

    Summary

“When I asked if you were sure,” Robin added, softer, “I meant the breaking-and-entering part. The fence. The maybe-getting-arrested part. The my college applications die in prison part.”

“Oh.” Nancy’s brows knit, then smoothed. Her chin lifted a fraction, a sly smile tugging at her lips. “We won’t get caught. No cameras. No alarms on the back door. And the fence—”

Robin was already moving. She dropped to one knee in front of it and laced her fingers together, bracing her thigh like a human step stool. “Your chariot awaits, your Highness.”

Nancy stared at her, then stepped closer. One hand settled on Robin’s shoulder. Her fingers slid upward—adjusting Robin’s collar, the back of them brushing the hollow of her throat. Robin shivered.

“Are you sure?” Nancy asked quietly, worrying her bottom lip.

“Dead serious,” Robin swallowed. “Though I’d really prefer if no interdimensional monsters showed up to prove it.”

    Or,

Robin met her soulmate somewhere between Russian torture and an interdimensional monster — and now she has absolutely no recollection of it. Fortunately, Steve Harrington has decided they’re going to find them anyway. Even if the answer might be right in front of her.

    Summary

Jesse Faden and Emily Pope are left holding the reins of the FBC after the events of Foundation, trying their best to keep the Hiss (and paperwork) under control. But down in Sublevel 3B, an old threat is reawakening. A sealed room is slowly eating memories, and no one seems to remember what was in there in the first place. As Emily and Jesse chase down answers through late-night archive dives and increasingly unreliable memories, they fight to keep each other grounded in the face of a reality-altering anomaly threatening to breach containment.

    Summary

It was wishful thinking. It had to be the truth. Glinda may not know much but she knew performance, and the more she thought about it the better it fit. Elphaba’s death didn’t make sense. Glinda had seen it with her own eyes and had stupidly believed that was proof it had happened.

Elphaba’s melting shadow had been wearing the hat. Glinda wasn’t sure of the scientification of melting, but surely either all or none of her clothes should have melted. Surely Elphaba herself shouldn’t have melted. Fiyero’s body was missing, and Elphaba’s hat was in her hands.

Glinda stared at herself in the mirror. Her eyes were bloodshot, and she realized she must have been crying. She looked crazy. It didn’t matter.

    Elphaba was alive.

    Summary

It was the same candle that now sat before her. A crooked navy-blue ribbon tied about its stocky circumference holding a sprig each of pine and spruce to its surface, angled into a V. A snipping of holly tucked between them and a thin wick poking out the uneven top.

    A gift.

    Tissaia blinked, momentarily stunned.

    ---

Three times Yennefer left a Midinváerne gift for Tissaia and one time Tissaia gave one in return.
