Summary
He heads back to his house, not even sparing a glance to his friend as he does. He shuts the door behind him, running toward the bathroom - he barely makes it to the sink before he starts hurling. Flowers force themselves out of his throat, he hunches over and it feels like a million knives stabbing his insides. His body convulses as he tries to keep the petals at bay but it’s a losing battle.
Purple. The only color that clouds his vision, littering his entire sink.

He was suddenly thrown into a situation, a choice that would change the course of his life. A beast, a monster that was really the crowned prince of Faerghus. A man that needed to be understood just like he did. It was straight out of a fairytale. How would the both of them fair? How would the both of them learn to love?

Claude didn't know if he should be terrified or incredibly enamored. His eyes must've been deceiving him but never in his life had he ever had a dream like this. Standing before him was a much larger and older version of himself, right beside him was an even larger version of Dimitri. But Dimitri was right next to him, the Dimitri he went to school with and teased. When he looked beside him it was indeed the Dimitri he's known, the look on his face was of complete and utter shock.
"Dima, I forgot how adorable you used to be," Claude, the older one, spoke and it shook Claude to his core.
The last thing that Claude remembers before appearing in this weird alternate future was Byleth's desperate face, shouting something about time. Now they were here, a future that they both would've never expected.
