Summary
When he loaded his supplies onto his boat, started the engine, and set out for sea, Techno didn’t think twice about how his day might go. He thought today was going to be another normal day.
Techno was wrong.
Because today when Techno hauled his catch over the side of his boat, he definitely did not expect to see an arm and a leg and the sounds of hissing coming from his net of fish.
“Oh god,” Techno said, dropping the net onto the deck of his boat. “I caught a drowning child, oh fuc–”
Or, the sea gifts Techno an axolotl child. With nothing else to do, Techno brings him home.

"A lot of the texts that describe it, granted there aren’t many, describe it like an item that was used in battle. But some texts describe it as doing things, and older texts even mention it acting out. So a lot of people wonder if it was some sort of person. Only, it was described as existing through nearly all of the Middle Ages, before mentions of it just stop. Weird stuff.”
“And what do you believe?” Techno asks. It’s not as much detail as he would’ve liked, but it’s very informative. A picture forms in his mind, of the reality that he can’t tell Phil. “What does Historian Phil Craft believe, hm?”
Phil hums, shakes his head. “I believe in it the same way I believe in the Blood God.” Techno snorts at the mention, and Phil cracks a grin. It’s a debate they’ve had a few times, the nature of the Blood God’s existence. “A lineage of people, all fulfilling the same role.”
Or, Technoblade time travels. He begins to notice a similar face in his ventures, centuries apart.

Summary
Tommy wished things were different, he wished he never betrayed Techno, and he wished he was still with the piglin. Things were easier back in the hidden cabin among the snow. If only he enjoyed it more. He was so focused on getting his fucking disks back he didn’t even realize how happy he had been. Tommy was healthier and happier than he had ever been back then, back there. Smiling throughout the day and night.
Rain pounded on the roof, it echoed through the walls of his little dirt hut and made his heart ache. He sat in the entrance with the door open, his bare feet kicked out into the rain.
Just like how water fell from the sky, it fell from his eyes. His throat clenched up uncomfortably as he held back heartbroken sobs.
