Summary

Now in her third year, with growing powers she doesn't understand, a supposed raving lunatic trying to hunt her down to finish what his inept, noseless Dark Lord couldn't, Adelia seeks refuge in the shadows that seem to grow toward her. The memories of the previous year linger, and when her friends begin to fracture, when the truth beneath the presumptions becomes to hard to ignore, Adelia endures because what other choice does she have? If she gave up, she let Voldemort win, and Adelia Potter did so very much hate losing.

Summary
Having survived her first year, Adelia wanted nothing more than to return to Hogwarts. It was safer there, for there she would be out of reach of both Voldemort and the Dursleys. She didn't imagine that a barmy house-elf, a precious snake, and a series of petrification's would prove her wrong, and yet once again she is thrust into the centre of mystery.
It's a good thing she's got faithful friends and an insatiable thirst to protect, and a nifty little diary she found that was definitely written by somebody who was most assuredly brilliant and mad.

Her father delights in it. The Realm whisper about her kindness. Otto is his normal self. Gwayne's just along for the ride. Laenor is having a grand old time. Daemon, eventually, despairs because there are so many children. In the end, they'll all be grateful for it, because no brother, no son, would dare steal from the woman who raised him.
