His eyes sting. At the very least, Buck contains the sound of it in his voice. “Eddie, I don’t know if you’ve noticed,” he replies, “but I already am.”
Eddie self-implodes. Christopher, seeking refuge, flees to Buck—whose priorities amount to, in varying order: take in the kid, get Eddie to talk to him, and keep the three of them afloat in the process. (Oh, and Tommy’s there too. He thinks.)

Summary
It's the first winter after Pitch's defeat. Jack is happy, he's not alone anymore, and his memories are gradually returning. But when a treasure hunt gone wrong puts Jack and Jamie in danger, flinging them through time and space, they find themselves on an island neither of them have heard of before. Jack's first priority is to get Jamie home safe, but Berk's inhabitants - human and otherwise - are certainly not making it easy.
Knowing they will leave Berk and the Vikings behind as soon as they know how to, Jack is not going to risk the pain of growing close to any of these people (or dragons, for that matter). But Hiccup Horrendous Haddock, wearing his heart on his sleeve, doesn't seem to want to take the hint.

Springing forward for his staff in an iron clad grip; Jack put it between himself, Jamie, and the intruder taking up the doorway.
Whoever that may be, stopped in his tracks. Lifted his hands in the air and Slowly, as if jack was a wounded animal about to bolt, took a step forward.

So, Peter is touch deprived and has panic attacks, there's only three people that can comfort him in these times. Vision, Tony, and Bucky. Now, Vision can't feel emotions like Peter does, but he knows that he is going through a tough time. Tony, well, he's basically his dad and knows everything about him. And it's a dads job to comfort. Bucky, has the same problem as Peter, and is touch deprived along with depression and anxiety. So, him and Peter understand each other very well. No one else can calm him down. Also, if you do make this, can you squeeze a field trip in with it?

He notices Luffy’s eyes becoming bigger at his whisper and his smirk getting naughtier.
“Make me, Torao,” he purrs, standing on the tip of his toes to try to be the same height.

Law wavers between answering him honestly, because lying to Luffy feels like a crime against humanity, and keeping his dark, sordid past to himself. “It’s a heart,” he deflects.
“You have many hearts,” Luffy observes. He pokes his right arm. “Are they for someone you loved?”
