Neil smiled, his breathing just a little uneven from the adrenaline, eyes roaming over the other boy's features, who didn't answered right away.
"Don't mention it"
The stranger sat down on the floor, his back leaning against the gunwale as he covered his face and let out another heavy sigh. Neil just grinned, sitting down next to him and nudging his shoulder to draw his attention back, making the other boy almost jump in surprise. There was a brief moment of silence in which Neil just stared at the other boy's eyes, the amused grin from before softening ever so slightly. After a few beats of silence, Neil finally spoke up.
"What's your name?"
He watched the other boy's face contort in a grimace, half confusion half amusement, probably due to the bizarreness of the situation. Neil had been about to commit suicide just seconds ago, after all.
"Todd Anderson"

Summary
One night Sancho volunteered to stay up as watch while Quixote rested. Those nights aren't common, Sancho is usually asleep before he's even asked if he wants to. However, that night he was feeling extra restless. They'd just defeated a big monster and lingering adrenaline was pumping through his veins.
He found himself watching Don's steady breathing, how peaceful he looked. Before that moment he'd described Knight Errant Don Quixote as a lot of things: brave, kind-hearted, insane. At that moment, in the middle of nowhere, in the dead of night, Sancho could only think he was beautiful. And right there it hit him like a rock to the head, he's in love with Don Quixote.

Or, Don Quixote discovers that Sancho is in love with him and sends him away. When Sancho gets hurt he realizes he doesn't want to be separated from his friend, but Sancho isn't sure it's a good idea. Eventually, the two set off on one more adventure together which leads to both of them unveiling a sinister plot against Quixote and Señor Scribe. -

It was a lot warmer in California than it was in New York right now, but there was a nice breeze shaking the foliage around him, sending the waves of the San Francisco bay crashing against the rocks at the base of the Titan's island. It was relaxing.
Jon wondered where Damian was at that very moment. Could he feel the heat? Could he hear the river, or the bustle of the town?
Jon jumped at the sound of something making a sudden noise right in front of him. His eyes flew open, and he had to take a few seconds to blink the sun spots out of his vision before it could focus.
Sitting in front of him was a cat. Relatively small, pure black with short hair, and piercing green eyes.

His mother coos at him, cherry nails tapping at his small nose, and he makes a grab at her finger with his chubby hands to pop it into his mouth.
His father laughs, a little breathlessly as he runs gentle fingers over Jon’s cheeks, and leans over him to press his lips to his mother’s forehead. Jon giggles cutely and reaches out to grab a thin thread that’s draped itself over his mother’s shoulder, winding it around his fingers.
