“Of my sister?” Kara replies curtly, pushing her bag onto the compartment again—with success, this time. She turns to give Lena a flatly irritated look. “Yes. I am.”
Lena nods, sardonically amused. “What are the odds?”
Kara rolls her eyes. “I don’t think there are thousands of flights headed to Sydney every day,” she says, sticking her hands in the pockets of her sweatpants.
“Oh, but there kind of are,” Lena pushes on, each word dripping with more and more smooth condescension. “There’s American, Qantas, Qantas through Dubai, codeshares. Just our luck, I suppose.”
“Right,” Kara answers flatly, pulling her hands out to cross her arms tight. “How blessed are we.”

By a lovely happenstance, Kara shares an electric first date with a beautiful stranger she meets at a coffee shop—but, the morning after, their firey chemistry turns ice-cold. Summary
When Kara arrives at the DEO with the unconscious woman that had her face in her arms, Alex almost has the agents in the vicinity shoot them both down. Kara gets it, really; between Bizarro and Lex’s Red Daughter, they really had enough of these Supergirl clones. It always spells trouble for them.
These days, Kara just wants a break: from being Supergirl, from everything, but the symbol on her chest is responsibility she can’t bear abandoning. Not only for the people who has placed their hopes on her, but also for what—who—she lost.
After all, if she lets Supergirl go, what did she lose Lena Luthor for?

Summary
Jessica Hoang takes her job very seriously. It’s odd, or uncommon, as she’s learned- people are always so surprised when she seems more loyal to Lena Luthor than the advancement of her own career. She used to think that the whole trope of secretaries selling out their bosses for personal gain existed only in bad TV shows, but, as always, she overestimates the human race.
So when Kara Danvers the reporter starts showing up more often, she’s wary and a little irritated. Yes, Lena said to let her in at any time, so she does so dutifully, but she’s seen her share of reporters and she’s not impressed with the bunch. Words are their trade, and it wouldn’t take much to motivate a reporter to twist Lena’s image around for a pretty buck.

It doesn’t take Emma long to learn that being a Time Traveler is not exactly easy. It's unpredictable and peculiar and exhausting and requires an inordinate amount of running. Yes, she spends most of her first twenty eight years running - running and running and running, and so very very lonely. And then a boy shows up on her doorstep. A boy named Henry, the son she gave away to give his best chance. A boy she brings home to a strange little town, to a woman with dark eyes that flicker so rapidly from surprise, to wonder, to anger, that it gives Emma whiplash. She is only confused further when she lands in a future where those same dark eyes look at her with unimaginable softness. A future where Regina is wearing a wedding dress. A future Emma has no time to truly comprehend before she is being dragged back to the present, left with nothing but questions.
Could she really get everything she ever wanted? A family? Love? Is any of that even possible for a Time Traveler - for her?

Through every wild accusation and baseless claim, not one of them wavers in their conviction that Kara Danvers is their own personal black cat. And this belief seems to be backed by senior management, who after several thousand dollars in damages and numerous complaints/threats to quit, have barred Kara from the test kitchen and restricted her to restaurant reviews and promo material.
Lena seriously considers getting the water tested for toxins. Or psychotropic drugs.
Because while she may well consider pastries to be an art, Lena is first and foremost a woman of science.
And she absolutely, positively does not believe in jinxes.or
Lena's a chef who doesn't believe in jinxes. Kara's a food writer who just so happens to be one.

“I’m sure.” Lena doesn’t mean to snap —it’s more of a mild annoyance if anything because if her once best friend doesn’t know that there is no way in hell she would be doing this if she didn’t want to, if she didn’t, however unwillingly, trust Kara with this, then did she ever know her at all? “As long as you’re amenable, Kara, I’m offering my complete consent. Is that okay, or would you like it in writing as well?”
For the first time, Lena’s snipe and the crystal clear memory of their last phone call just makes Kara smile. “I’m good,” she says softly.
“Good.”
“You know, a week ago, the morning after we— I’d convinced myself it was a dream. I was scared to check my call log.”
“Do you have many wet dreams about me, Kara?”
Kara laughs suddenly, though she can’t help but feel like she’s been missing out on an essential experience. “No.”
“Shame.”
“You, uh, you hung up last time,” Kara ventures hesitantly. “Before I could…”
“If you’re worried I didn’t complete the mission, I’m happy to inform you that I did.”
“No, before I could tell you that you sounded beautiful.”

Summary
