“Mr. Jayce wanted your care, so I made him a creature that’s gotta be cared for. Simple stuff! If you wanna break the spell, just treat him right.”
The leap in logic had them both speechless. What a stupid reason for Jayce to end up as a puppy, of all things.
Voice thick with skepticism; Viktor said, “So you mean to say love is the solution. As if we were reenacting some children’s tale."
She was unfazed by his biting tone.
“Yep!”

Ending up somewhere else doesn’t magically fix a relationship. Especially not when Viktor won’t meet Jayce halfway. So when Jayce gets cursed, Viktor has to work for true love’s kiss.
