She titled her head in confusion, “unless it’s actually…” she paused in disbelief.
He nodded.
“…True.” Her eyes widened.

Summary

This is fairly common knowledge, considering his attire, but Maddie didn't make the connection until she overheard him talking about it with some of the other ghosts. Then she notices how much he looks like Danny. How much he sounds like him. How similar their mannerisms are, and their habits, and their sense of humor.
Unfortunately, she still manages to come to some slightly wrong conclusions.

Summary
