Summary
It's Shane Hollander's freshman year in college and he's trying hard to make the rest of the team take him seriously as a simple coyote shifter. He doesn't really fit with the apex predators that make up the Voyagers, he's type A and closed off. Hell, he's still a virgin. Well, until he meets the Russian Co-Captain that seems to have his eye on him.
Ilya Rozanov is a grizzly bear shifter and a Russian import that's better than any Canadian player. Then he's put on babysitting duty for the cute little freshman that's outplaying everyone. Yuna Hollander was a very efficient momager and recruits him to help the coyote shifter through some of the harder aspects of college life including Dallas Kent who's aiming to make the newbie's life hell.

Briefly, Dean wants to scream because he knows the difference between a moat and a levy, he knows why he wants the rice, and he knows that Sammy will never understand because that’s why he did everything he did, dammit, so that Sammy wouldn’t want to hoard rice. But it’s easier, safer to let Sammy think that there’s nothing serious or weak about him. He's worked too long and too hard at molding this rendition of himself to give it up now. To reabsorb the girlish tendencies he’s been purging out of the shell he occupies.
