Lucius Malfoy, Severus Snape, Bellatrix Black, Fenris Greyback and forty-six others confessed their crimes and voluntarily surrendered.
The only thing that the press knew, and thus the world, was the the reign of Voldemort was over.
What they couldn’t figure out was why.
