Abaddon was tired. So very tired.
The endless loops - 73? 80? 90? He didn't know how many times he had done this - had drained him. Had taken everything from him and left him so exhausted. Exhausted enough to just... Sleep.
And so he slept. He slept for 300 years, past the evolution of the town and the manor and the modern history since being possessed. The events remain the same, being found by Nathan, and taken to the manner and cared for... Yet everything is different now.
He didn't mean to change the events so much. He was just tired.
Meanwhile, Nathan is having a panic attack because he's convinced himself that he just rescued a child that a cult tried to sacrifice in the woods. From one cult survivor to another, it's a no brainer that he decides to keep this disturbed little boy.

This is what happens when an HFY lover writes Human Domestication Guide fiction. Overall, this is going to be a little bit different from most of the other stories there; it's not cuddly happiness, and it's not kinky identity death smut. I did do my homework though; I followed all the guidelines meticulously, and I understand HDG reasonably well.

Summary
Dean is dying, the hellhounds are on their way to claim his soul, and Sammy is keeping away so he can work on that crazy plan of his to circumvent the contract and, hopefully, save Dean's life. To top it all off Dean is now being hunted by the FBI because clearing out a nest of vamps looks eerily similar to serial murder. Then you throw in the hazy memory of a one night stand with a sweater vest wearing nerd and things get even more complicated.
Spencer is in recovery. The Tobias Hankel incident is, supposedly, behind him and he's moving forward with his life. Or at least, he's trying to. But life never makes it easy, does it? Enter the weirdest case the BAU has ever come across. Victims walking around with dead blood running through their veins, beheaded bodies stacking up at an alarming rate, and enough missing persons cases to drown a city. Add in the one night stand he'd rather forget and you have a recipe for chaos.
Can the BAU solve this case? Or will the supernatural solve it for them?

Mice were common creatures inside the homes of District Nine. A constant reminder of their failure during the rebellion. Originally released by their oppressors as a form of biological weapons, it wasn’t uncommon to see their descendant’s scurrying the dirt streets.
When the Capitol learned of them being easily slayed during the war, they modified the failed jabberjays to attack anyone who harmed the disease carriers. A trait that the Mockingjay sadly kept.
To this day the people of Nine can’t go near a mouse without the birds attacking. As after all… what was a Mockingjay without a Mouse by their side?
