As Jade listened, he couldn’t help but wonder how the scar felt. He brushed his hand against them, feeling so rough against his hand. The scars were still so vibrant with color, contrasting Trey’s skin dramatically. While inspecting further, Trey had birth marks on his back that Jade didn’t know about. It’s literally a whole different side of Trey-san!
“If I let you kiss them, will you let me see yours?” Trey asked with a smirk on his face.
“How cheeky, Trey-san. You never have to ask me for that. Allow me to make this easier for you.” Jade said as he took off his shirt as well.
Or, Trey and Jade have scars from the Overblots they’ve experienced and talk it out in the middle of the night.

So he doesn’t stop. Akechi doesn’t stop. And so they enter a different kind of dance. A dance that is so much like their previous will-they-won’t-they but so much more charged with tension and desire.

Summary
The shadows around him loom large, creep up, and crawl to devour him. Whether or not he becomes choked by them, Anaxa’s chest constricts, horrid cold sweat dripping seemingly from his every pore. No amount of knowledge lifts this pain.
Typically, Anaxa waits these periods out in solitude. He knows these moments pass, and that the weight in his chest will lift. What he also knows, is that if anyone ever witnesses him in such a state, their impression of him will crumble. His credibility, the rationality he boasts freely, and his dignity as the sharp-witted, all-knowing and wise. These qualities simply do not, and cannot coincide with uncontrolled bouts of neuroticism.
Unfortunately for Anaxa, he has promised to meet with Phainon tonight. It strikes when he is preparing the guest bed for Phainon, a thorned tendril twisting at his chest.

Kaveh used to think that Alhaitham had mastered the art of ignoring him. The man would remain unflappable as he continued to read his worn copy of The Origins of Enkanomiyan Language, even when Kaveh was a hair’s breadth away from shattering the windows of their house with his severity of pitch.
No amount of screaming, threats to throw things, or violently waving in front of him could get Alhaitham to pause in his thirst for knowledge. As it turns out, Alhaitham literally just turns his hearing aids off so he doesn’t have to listen to Kaveh.
It’s for this exact reason that Kaveh has decided to learn Sumerian Sign Language.
